We achieve efficiency with

• Planter experience-Tree planting is a skilled labour with a steep and arduous learning curve. 90% of our planters are veterans. This minimizes early season training and error, and maximizes our ability to quickly adapt to new situations.
• Management experience-Our management team has an average of eight years each in the tree planting industry. This ensures that good decisions are made, and that plans are developed and well executed. It also means that our forepersons are well connected and can hire the best planters in the industry.
• Solid systems-Professionals have been employed by Summit to develop efficient and effective health and safety systems, and environmental programs. We get the results without the high overhead.
• Investment-Summit continually invests in maintaining and improving efficiency. This investment includes new vehicles, equipment, and training.

• Variable crew size that allows us to plant large and small blocks efficiently.
• Communication devices that allow for rapid response to need. Every planter has access to a radio that allows them to communicate directly with their foreperson
